Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website at musjoy.co and the mobile applications operated by MUSJOY Limited (also referred to as “MUSJOY HK”, “we”, “our” or “us”), a company registered in Hong Kong with Business Registration Number (BRN) 69135090 and Company Registration Number (CR) 2672399, with registered office at 705A, Silvercord Tower 2, 30 Canton Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Services. If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. License to use the Services
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, MUSJOY HK grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for your personal, non-commercial use. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
3. Accounts and security
Some features may require an account or sign-in. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
4. User content
You retain ownership of content you submit, upload or generate through the Services (“User Content”). By providing User Content, you grant MUSJOY HK a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, process and display the User Content as necessary to operate, deliver and improve the Services. You represent that you have all rights necessary to grant this license and that your User Content does not infringe any third-party rights.
5. AI-generated content
Some features (for example, the AI characters in Lunio or AI imaging features in Look Like) generate content using machine-learning models. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive or otherwise unsuitable, and is provided “as is.” You are responsible for evaluating any AI-generated content before relying on it. AI-generated content does not constitute professional advice (medical, legal, financial, mental-health or otherwise). If you are experiencing a crisis or distress, please contact a qualified professional or local emergency services.
6. Subscriptions and payments
Certain features are offered through paid subscriptions (for example, Lunio Plus). Subscriptions are billed through Apple’s App Store and managed by your Apple ID:
- Prices and billing cycles are displayed at the time of purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions through Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; fees already paid are non-refundable, except as required by applicable law or App Store policy.
- If a free trial is offered, it will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends.
7. Prohibited use
You agree not to use the Services to:
- Violate any law or third-party right, including intellectual property and privacy rights.
- Upload or share content that is unlawful, harmful, harassing, abusive, defamatory, obscene or otherwise objectionable.
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract source code, except where permitted by law.
- Probe, scan, attack or interfere with the Services, related infrastructure or other users.
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Services without our express written permission.
- Use the Services to develop a competing product, or to train machine-learning models, without our prior written consent.
8. Intellectual property
The Services, including all software, designs, text, graphics, trademarks (including the MUSJOY name and logo) and other materials, are owned by MUSJOY HK or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or lease any part of the Services.
9. Disclaimers
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. MUSJOY HK does not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure or free from viruses or other harmful components.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MUSJOY HK and its affiliates, directors, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, use, goodwill or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of the Services. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts paid by you to MUSJOY HK in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) HK$500.
11. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless MUSJOY HK and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of the Services; (b) your User Content; or (c) your breach of these Terms.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, including for breach of these Terms or to comply with legal obligations. You may stop using the Services at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law) will survive termination.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated through the website or in-app notices. Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong, except that we may seek injunctive or equitable relief in any competent jurisdiction to protect our rights.
